In the spirit of discovering and spreading ideas, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection.
These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides a general guidelines for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)

TEDxOsmaniaU is a student-led initiative that embodies the creative spirit and intellectual legacy of Osmania University. Licensed by TED, our platform empowers students and local thinkers to share bold ideas, spark meaningful conversations, and explore perspectives that challenge the status quo.
By blending the rich heritage of our university with a passion for innovation and learning, TEDxOsmaniaU creates a space where curiosity meets action, inspiring change that extends beyond the campus and into the wider community.
What’s that rope which looks like a snake? What’s that Facade which superimposes that perceptibility?
Welcome to the paradox of being human. We move through a world layered with facades and smoke, where perception plays tricks on reality and sometimes, reality plays tricks right back. That flower you pluck? Its thorn might draw blood. Is nature punishing you, or are you simply unprepared for complexity? The world isn't painted in bold blacks and whites. It's swimming in shades of grey, where someone is always stretching the boundaries just to see what breaks.
Mundane thoughts don’t last, common stories don’t spark. But beneath every deception, every misread perception, every hallucination lurking in our minds, there lives an exception, a moment of clarity. Yet here's where it gets spikey: Is truth universal, or is every person's reality subjective? Can we even find solid ground in this hyper-modern age where everything can be debunked, remixed, and reconstructed? What we perceive might contradict itself. What we live becomes our truth, messy, real, undeniable.
What if everything you navigate daily is just light playing tricks? What if the "reality" we've all agreed to believe in is itself the greatest illusion? But here's the revolutionary part: The truth isn't in the reflection. It's on the other side of the mirror. Sometimes it exists beyond the mirror entirely. We live in an era of digital smoke screens, algorithmic distortions, and cognitive traps we don't even see. We need spaces that cut through the noise not with passive listening, but with active awakening.
This isn't a typical talk. This is intellectual rebellion. We bring together voices that refuse to perform comfortable lies. Speakers who strip away the pretense. Visionaries who see through society's smoke screens. Rebels who know mirrors aren't meant to just reflect they're meant to be shattered if deflected. Forget predictable insights and tedious presentations. TEDx OsmaniaU 2025 will spark conversations that will electrify you, challenge your assumptions, and mould you to question everything in the best way possible.
Step into Osmania's 'Light upon Light' event. Let the illusory smoke clear. Watch the deceptive mirrors crack. Discover what lies beyond the comfortable lies we tell ourselves.
